Slag Glass Arrowhead Pendant

This arrowhead pendant features an arrowhead hand chipped from slag glass that was found in the mountains of north Georgia.  This glass was created in the iron ore furnaces that were used to smelt iron in the early to mid 1800’s.  Slag glass is a byproduct of the smelting process, and this arrowhead was made from that glass.  It looks like obsidian, but is a bit different in color.  It’s a cool example of a glass arrowhead pendant made from a piece of history.
