Spearpoint 1

Side notched spearpoint made of Keokuk chert from Oklahoma.  This spearpoint has nice clean lines, good symmetry and the edges are finely serrated and very sharp.  Though it doesn't show so well in the photo, the point actually has a slight salmon pink color to it with some slightly darker, though tiny reddish specks in it.  This is a beautiful point for a spear or just to have in a display case.   Click photo for larger image.
