40 lb Snakeskin Backed Osage Orange Bow NEW!

This snappy bow is made from a narrow piece of Osage orange...it pulls 40 lbs at 27" of draw and is backed with the skin of a water snake.  It has tip overlays of exotic Cocobolo and the grip is wrapped with buttery soft buckskin with a baseball stitch on the front of the leather grip.  The arrow rest is made from a deer antler tine and the strike plate is made of the same buckskin as the grip.  The string is made of Fast Flite for no stretch, very little handshock and high arrow speed. 

This bow has high string tension and has a very quick response when the string is released, especially when lighter arrows are shot from it.  The snakeskin gives the bow a deadly appearance and this bow is easily capable of taking deer sized game when the arrow is put in the right spot.  This bow is feather light in the hand and a joy to carry while target shooting or hunting.  

Bow is sent in a PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery to your door.
