If you shoot modern carbon fiber or aluminum arrows and have wanted to try hunting with stone points, here's your chance! These stone hunting points are mounted to a hardwood foreshaft that has a threaded insert that will fit into any standard modern arrow that accepts screw-in field points or broadheads. They weigh between 125 and 130 grains and will fly beautifully off your bow. Because stone points have a more rounded cross section, they don't wind-plane like steel broadheads and fly like field points. These stone points are also very sharp and will prove lethal on your next big game animal. The points are glued in with epoxy for incredible durability, then wrapped with artificial sinew for a traditional look. These points can be shot from traditional bows, compound bows and crossbows.

The foreshafts are painted black with three bright yellow bands to mimic the warning colors of a yellow jacket.

IMPORTANT: These points are designed for HUNTING ONLY and should not be shot into a target for practice. Doing so will dull the edges and risk damaging the fragile tips. Protect the sharp edges by wrapping with toilet paper or other soft material to ensure their sharpness and lethality is preserved. Don't leave them exposed in a back quiver to bang against other points, otherwise the sharp edges will be quickly dulled. Use a field point of the same weight for practice, then use the stone point when hunting only. Also, these inserts will not fit into the newer, super skinny carbon fiber arrows. Those arrows have a different thread pitch and diameter as opposed to the standard carbon fiber arrows most people use.

If you still doubt the effectiveness of these points, scroll through the photos to see some big game animals that were taken with these screw in stone points.
