This replica Anasazi/Cliff Dweller arrow is a copy of one on display at the Chapin Archaeological Museum at Mesa Verde in Colorado that's reputed to be around 700 years old.  Not all Native American arrows were elaborately painted.  Many were simple, no-nonsense missiles like this one.

The shaft is a hardwood shoot of Oceanspray and it's fletched with Canada goose wing feathers secured with hide glue and wrapped on each end with sinew.  The point is white chert that's held with pine sap glue and a wrapping of deer sinew.

This slim arrow would have probably been launched from simple wooden bows pulling between 35-45lbs and would have been effective at taking down deer and othe big game with a well-placed shot at close range.

Arrow length: 26 1/2"

This arrow is shipped in a sturdy PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery to your door.
