41# Osage Orange Bow Backed with Iridescent Turkey Feathers SOLD

This unique osage orange bow was made by Dan Spier and is backed with the iridescent breast feathers of a wild turkey.  It pulls 41 lbs at its maximum draw length of 23 inches.  The feathers were glued to the bow, then coated with a clear lacquer that locked them in place.  The feathers reflect back different colors depending on the angle of the light.  They can change color from gold, to yellowish green, to copper, and even aqua green, blue and lavender.  The grip is wrapped with purple leather that has a baseball stich on the front.  The purple grip is complimented by tip overlays of purpleheart wood.  The string is orange and brown Fast Flite for almost no stretch, fast arrow speed and almost shockless release. 

This short bow is designed for close-range hunting and is perfect for shooting at game from concealed locations like hunting blinds where maneuverability is important.  This bow pulls a stout 41 lbs at 23 inches and is a fast, accurate bow with properly matched arrows that's capable of bringing down deer sized game with ease if the arrow hits the right spot.  It's designed for a right handed shooter.  Care/Instruction sheet included.  Shipped in a sturdy PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery to your door.
