This beautiful arrow is an exact copy of an original Hupa arrow that's held in the collection of the Mary Hill Museum in the Dalles, Oregon. I had the privilege to examine the authentic arrow back in 2018. This arrow copies it in every respect.
The main shaft is syringa. It is fletched with turkey tail feathers lashed with sinew and glued with hide glue. Serviceberry was used for the foreshaft and it's tipped with a side-notched point of heat treated jasper. Horesetail ruch grooves are present under the feathers, just like the original.
The paint design copies the original. As far as Hupa arrows go, this one is the most extravagantly decorated of any Hupa arrow I've ever seen. And here's your chance to own a spot-on copy of the real deal for yourself.
Arrow is shipped in a sturdy PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery to your door. Arrow length 31 3/4" long.
