Hickory Bow Stave SOLD

This beautifully clean and straight hickory bow stave is made of a premium piece of Virginia hickory that's been seasoned for 2 years. It's very clean and straight with no knots, it has no cracks, and it's ready to be made into a hard-hitting long bow the moment it reaches your door. The bark was left on so it would season slowly and ensure a very dense, hard and durable bow. This stave is super straight both from the side and front profile, making this an easy, straightforward bow to tiller. This stave could be made into a longbow capable of handling up to a 31 inch draw. Or it could be shortened to handle a shorter draw. They don't get any better than this one.

This stave could be made into a flatbow or a replica Eastern Woodland Indian Bow, either of which would be a capable target or hunting bow.

Stave Specs: Virginia Hickory (seasoned 2 years), 66 inches long, 3 inches wide at center, 1 7/8 inches thick at center.
