Premium Hickory Bowstave SOLD

This beautiful hickory bow stave is made of a piece of premium Virginia hickory that's been seasoned for one year.  It has no knots, drying cracks or splits.  It has a gentle S-curve when viewed from the back, but both tips line up and the S-curve doesn't have any effect on the performance or durability of the bow that will be made from it.  This stave could be made into a replica Eastern Woodland Indian bow, or it could be made into an American Flatbow.  It's a gorgeous piece of wood that will make a hard hitting, straight shooting longbow with minimal work.

Stave Specs:  Virginia Hickory (seasoned one year), 65 1/2 inches long, 2 7/8 inches wide at center, 1 3/8 inches thick at center. Shipping is $25
