Requiring over 3 1/2 years to film and produce, the most in-depth DVD ever created on constructing the Paddle Bow used by Northern California Indians has jsut been released!  In this DVD I team up with master artist and primitive bowmaker Steve Allely of Oregon to give you a very privileged and detailed look at some very old (130 years +) bows and arrows in a private collection.  Then we go out into the forest and collect the very same materials they Indians used and show you, step-by-step, how to construct these weapons based on the original artifacts.  Every details of construction is covered, from shaping the stave to sinewing the bow, to making the unique bent-tab nocks, to painting the finished weapon.  All aspects of arrow construction are covered as well, including collecting the same materials used by the Indians.  This DVD is packed with info from start to finish.  The completed weapon will be as deadly as it is beautiful, and will be capable of taking big game.  There's no bowmaking DVD like it anywhere!
