Blue Slumped Bottle Dish SOLD

This beautiful slumped bottle dish is made from a cobalt blue bottle that was carefully slumped in a kiln to create this unique serving dish.  It has a pretty swirly pattern that's pressed into the underside of the dish that was in the mold and was created when the glass was softened in the kiln.  The bottom of the bottle is still somewhat upright, and this is important because it maximizes the carrying capacity of the dish.  This dish can hold candy, crackers, olives, sliced fruit or veggies, dips, sauces, gravy, cheeses, and any other food item that will fit inside the dish.  It can also hold change, keys, small candles as a table accent, or even as a spoon rest while cooking to keep sauces from dripping on the counter.
