Obsidian Arrowhead Necklace SOLD

This pretty arrowhead necklace is made from a colorful piece of mahogany obsidian that was carefully hand chipped just like the old artifacts. The base of the point is wire-wrapped with black wire in the same criss-cross pattern that the old ones would have been when mounted to a spear or arrow. The necklace cord is black, 2-ply twisted fabric that matches the same type of 2-ply cordage made by ancient people the world over. The necklace has two knotted loops so the length can be adjusted so the arrowhead itself sits in the perfect spot, depending on your preference. The edges of the arrowhead have been dulled for safety.

Obsidian was used wherever it was found for hunting and butchering game in ancient times, and now you can wear that same history around your neck. This necklace represents a connection to the old ways of life, a lifeway that all of us share as humans.
