Spearpoint 10

A short but stout side-notched point made of slightly off-white heat treated coastal plains chert. Its serrated edges are very sharp.  It's not the prettiest or most amazing point, but its slight asymmetry and thicker cross section is more typical of the points used in prehistory.   Click photo for larger image.
