This is premium North Georgia rivercane that's perfect for making your own atl-atl darts. It's larger diameter and longer length make it ideal for either hand thrown or atl-atl thrown spears. It's between 72-82 inches (6 to almost 7 feet) long. It's also naturally hollow, making the addition of foreshafts quick and easy. The end of the cane can also be split and barbs can be carefully carved onto each split, making a great primitive fish spear or frog gig. I used identical rivercane to make the darts featured in my Making the Spear and Spearthrower series on YouTube. Now's your opportunity to use the same material I use for atl-atl darts! These are raw, seasoned shafts that will require heating and straightening.
Due to its longer length, these darts fall into the oversize category and will cost $30 to ship to you. If you want to order more than 3 dart shafts, please contact me via e-mail (primitivepathways1@yahoo.com) so I can combine orders to save you money on shipping.
