Prairie Rattlesnake Backed Osage Bow (SOLD)

This killer Osage orange bow is backed with the skin of a Prairie Rattlesnake and pulls 42 lbs at 28 inches.  It's designed for a right handed shooter, and it has a buttery soft black deerskin leather grip with a baseball stitch on the back.  It's got buffalo horn tip overlays and has a Fast Flite string for low stretch, high arrow speed and sweet release with little handshock.  This bow is a capable target/ hunting bow and is capable of taking deer sized game with matched arrows and accurate shot placement.  

Although the photo showing the bow strung makes it look lopsided as one limb appears to be bending more than the other, in fact this bow is tillered properly because one limb has a slight reflex, while the other is slightly bent the other way when you look at the photo showing the bow unstrung.  That's the challenge of making a bow from wood...you must work with the natural profile of the wood and tiller it accordingly.  Although it looks weird, this bow is tillered properly and is a durable, fully capable weapon.  

This bow is shipped to you in a sturdy PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery to your door.  Care/Instruction sheet included.
