Cottonmouth Backed Osage Orange Bow SOLD

This cool little bow is a narrow Osage orange backed with the skin of the venomous Cottonmouth. The handle is buttery soft buckskin with a spiral wrap of thin jute twine. Both ends of the grip are accented with otter fur. The tips are narrow nocks with a wrap of sinew to form a shoulder where the string hangs on. The string is of Fast Flite for low stretch and high arrow speed. This is a springy, quick, responsive bow pulls 30 lbs at 24 inches and is a great youth bow but has enough speed and power to be adequate for close-range hunting of deer-sized game at close range.

Bow is shipped in a sturdy PVC pipe. Care/Instruction sheet included.
