47 lb Copperhead Backed Osage Takedown Bow SOLD

This sexy and deadly osage bow is a fully capable target/hunting weapon that's as effective on targets as it is on big game.  This takedown bow is sleeved at the handle and can be pulled apart for ease in carrying and transport.  The copperhead snakeskin adds a deadly appearance, but also helps with camouflage when you're in close quarters with wary big game and need to escape detection while drawing your bow. This bow is designed for a right handed shooter.  

This bow has a snakey upper limb and a slightly snakey bottom limb that makes it appear as though it's a slithering snake.  The tips have Asian water buffalo horn overlays and a peg arrow rest of the same horn. The strike plate is tanned alligator skin. The handle is soft, buttery black leather with a baseball stitch on the front.  The string is yellow and brown Fast Flite with very low stretch for minimal handshock, maximum arrow speed and maximum longevity.  It pulls 47 bs at 28 inches and is a fully capable big game hunting weapon.  With properly matched arrows this bow is capable of nock-splitting accuracy at 20 yards.   

Bow Specs:  Osage orange takedown, 67 inches long when assembled, 35 1/2 inches when broken down.  Backed with Copperhead snakeskin, pulls 47 lbs at its maximum draw of 28 inches, Asian water buffalo peg arrow rest and tip overlays.
