Osage Long Bow (SOLD)

This Osage longbow is the perfect hunter. It pulls 53 lbs at 30 inches of draw and is actually patterned after my personal hunting bow.  Its 69-inch length is tailored to taller hunters (like me) who require longer draws to reach their anchor.  It's length gives a nice, smooth draw and fast arrow speed while its moderate draw weight won't overpower the archer and affect his accuracy.  This bow is best suited for arrows weighing 500 to 750 grains, as they carry more momentum downrange. The handle is wrapped with a buttery-soft strip of chocolate leather and it's complimented with a black and gold Dacron B-50 string for years of shooting enjoyment. The center of the string is wrapped with black serving to protect it from abrasion and provide years of maintenance-free performance.  The bow is shipped to you in a 2-inch diameter PVC pipe that can be kept as a storage/shipping container for the bow.  Instruction/care sheet is also included.  Click photos for larger images.
