Slumped Wine Bottle Dish SOLD

A yellowish-green wine bottle was slumped in a kiln to create this wine bottle serving dish.  This was done at the perfect temperature so the bottom of the bottle didn't collapse, maximizing the carrying capacity of the dish.  A shallow, swirly pattern is impressed into the bottom of the dish, though it's not as deep and distinct as some other dishes made from heavier, thicker bottles.  This was a trade off...if it got hotter then the design would be more distinct, but then the bottom would collapse and greatly reduce the amount the dish could hold.
